【FOOD】 Boat Noodle @ Empire Damansara

Sorry guys, another Thai food post again. Just bear with me on my love for Thai just for the next hour.. XD

This time I'm going to talk about Boat Noodle, a renowned Thai Foodchain store which is still the one of the favourite place across all Malaysia (because it's halal and accepted by everyone).

I remember those days where my friend and I challenged one another to stack as many plate as possible. Those whom has the lowest height of bowl stacking shall paid the bill! XD

I was invited to try their new set of menu in their Empire Damansara Branch. Mad excited me because I'm among the very first batch whom got this kind of privilege, and I'm going to introduce all of them in this post!

As usual, the interior setting of Boat Noodle has this Thai homely and tradition feel, which never fails to make me miss my Thailand traveling days. T____T

- DRINKS -

#1 Blue Butterfly - RM 5.50

This drink which has the combination of pea tea and lemon shall serve as perfect drink to cool it off under hot, sunny day.

Its ability to turn from blue to purple colour by adding lemon awed us, as if we are a magician performing a magic on the scene.

Before and After. Pardon the lighting.

#2 Mango Smoothie - RM 5.50

Being famous for Mango in all kinds of Thai dishes, what's not having mango as your drink? This mango smoothie uses fresh mango and was grind to the finest, rest assue its taste won't let you down!

- FOOD -

#3 Prosperity Yum Noodle - RM 1.99 per bowl

Thai Rice Noodle Prosperity Yum

Springy Noodle Prosperity Yum

Comes with the choice of beef and chicken, this time the brand new Boat Noodle comes with Thailand's most popular soup-flavour: the spicy and sour Tom Yum broth!

Credits to Boat Noodle, for being able to nail the Tom Yum broth flavour that I'm looking for: the spicy and soup were balanced perfectly, and it doesn't further affect the texture of noodles. We enjoyed having our foods blended so well with the hot, spicy and soup Tom Yum which fulls of fragrant spies and herbs that has been used.

Well, we ain't gonna let the Boat Noodle tradition ended just like that. XD

#4 Thai Fried Chicken - RM 12.90

Behold, le highlights dish of the day! The fried chicken were juicy from the inside, crispy from the outside, wins everyone's heart in this room. We ordered few plates of it to the extend the waiter just knew what we going to order besides the tom yum boat noodles lol.

The chicken gives more sourly and sweet if you deep with Thai Chili Sauces that served together, which is what the Thais usually did.

I'm pretty excited with the new menu from Boat Noodle this time, mainly because the Tom Yum broth is available and the had enhanced their fried chicken version, which creates more Thai-Friendly enviroment. Gonna bring my Thai friend to come over to boat noodle to share this exciting food with them!
